Mississippi Families for Kids and Help Me Grow Mississippi will be hosting the first Annual, "Books, Balls, & Blocks" event. It’s a family community-screening event for families and children (ages birth to 5). These events are comprised of various activity stations in which children can engage in developmentally appropriate play while their parents complete a valid and reliable developmental questionnaire to pinpoint their child’s developmental progress. A trained professional will then review the screening results with the parent/caregiver and provide information and referrals to any support or services that may be needed.

We would love to have your agency as an exhibitor/vendor. We feel this event will be a great opportunity for you to introduce your agency and the services provided. The vendor space is FREE; however, we are asking each exhibitor/vendor to provide a door prize for the families (ex: basket of children books, balls, blocks and/or gift cards). We will provide each vendor with a table and two chairs. Due to limited vendor space, registration is required. Please check and double-check your calendar before registering.

We know early detection can make all the difference to a young child. The proof is undeniable- the earlier a developmental concern is identified, the greater the chance a child has for reaching his or her full potential in life.
